Like the previous Eco Remote, the 2022 remote will still be charged with solar energy. There is a solar panel on the back of the remote that catches ambient or direct light to keep the remote constantly charged.
The highlight of the Samsung 2022 Eco remote is RF harvesting is added to draw power from radio waves emitted by Wi-Fi routers to keep it charged.
The remote is expected to launch this year and will be available in black and white.
